I always assumed Naylor was a rare name because all my life I’d only heard it preceded by Doug. (Until Richard, of course.) But I recently discovered there’s a Barbara Naylor who teaches acting at our local community college, and six of my fb friends have a mutual friend called Craig Naylor. Turns out, the name is everywhere: there are even towns called Naylor in Missouri and Georgia.
