…since we did a roundup of slightly spoilery things spotted on social media, so let’s combine one of those with the usual “ooh, there’s a recording tonight” post. Let’s get that stuff out the way first: episode three records tonight, we won’t be there but there are correspondents in the field, set report coming this weekend. Probably on the Sunday rather than the Saturday this time, but I’m sure you’ll cope.
Anyway, over on Twitter, we spotted this intriguing tweet:
— Damien Slash (@damienslash) November 26, 2015
Slash to feature in Series XI? Tumblr will be delighted. Ah no, this is Damien Slash, an actor/comedian/voice-over artist, who has just broken a non-disclosure agreement I shouldn’t wonder. Interesting use of the word “more”. Mr Slash’s agency page reveals that his real name is Daniel Barker, and that picture of a table Danny tweeted a few weeks ago revealed that there was a Daniel Barker at the episode one readthrough. So presumably, Slash/Barker (that’s slashslashbarker) provided voices for episode one, and has now been asked back for episode three. It seems unlikely that it’d be the same character, unless it’s a particular vending machine or something. He also Instagrammed a photo of a door, which is nice.
In other news, it seems that this week’s episode will contain some green screen work. Oooh. Robert tweeted that green screen pic on Monday, then another on Tuesday, and furthermore Danny tweeted this very green-hued picture. So the chromakey work spilled over at least two days, possibly even four – can we expect extensive use of green screen in the final episode, or were they just doing a handful of time-consuming things? Let’s take another look at that second Bobby pic for a moment:
This is Karl, he’s our legendary physical effects supervisor. If anything doesn’t work, we blame Karl. pic.twitter.com/WlrnEkfucE

Hello, Karl! Karl has a nice face. But we can’t help noticing that it’s not Mike Tucker’s face. Nor is Mike Tucker’s first name Karl. We know that The Model Unit have provided at least some props, so we assumed they’d be on board for this type of thing. Maybe they’re just busy making loads of Starbugs and blowing them up. Let’s say that.
And finally, if you squint at the background in this picture Danny tweeted of DoP Ed Moore’s lovely jumper, you can just about make out a bit of one of the sets:

SPOILER ALERT: it’s red.
