    This news just in…

    Long-running robotical soap Androids could be dropped by Channel 27
    following protracted negotiations over broadcasting rights.

    The GFC said that if agreement was not reached in the “very, very near future”
    the money would be allocated elsewhere. It has refused to reveal how much
    it is offering for the drama, which has been screened twice a day for over 20 years. Both Cheapo, Tatty Channel Three and Sado, Loner Channel Five have been connected with bids for the show.

    A groovy funky spokesman added: “We hope that Androids will remain on our
    channel but no programme is indispensable and it has to come at the right
    price.” Negotiations over a new contract are ongoing.

    Just in? It was announced that Groovy Channel 27 dropped it over a week back, with the words “They were asking for too much. Still, it just proves how much money you can make with a bunch of cheap tat if Loner Channel 5 wants it…”

    As long as it still has plenty of busty Australian strumpets I dont care what channel it’s on.

    I didn’t realise it rated that well! In Australia a 1 million+ audience gets a show on the top 15 shows of the week, since Australia’s population is only 20 million.

    Anyways, I’m upset it’s moved to channel 4- if it wasn’t picked up at all, maybe it would stop being made and Simpsons repeats will have another time slot!

    It’s not moved to Channel 4, it’s gone to five. Simpsons repeats are unaffected.

    I keep forgetting to point out I’m in Australia- Simpsons and Neighbours are on the same channel.
