    Every time I think I’ve seen every element of Red Dwarf, I do a little job that requires me to skim the DVDs once again (nothing to do with the latest kerfuffle, btw) and find something I’d never clocked before.

    This time it’s Thanks for the Memory, where I’d never noticed that when Rimmer eats the triple-egg sandwich, egg is dripping down his arm to his elbow. Then a little stream dribbles out onto the floor.

    Maybe I’m the only one who never saw this – and I’m not sure why it matters. But it DOES.

    Nope you’re not alone, I’ve never noticed that either. But you do wonder how you’ve managed to not see something for so long don’t you?

    I’m not in the least ashamed to say I saw it, and to realise it was probably a one take and clean up afterwards, and the Kryten make-up on Danny’s nose. But its great when you see something after the hundredish viewing.

    I’m amazed that I’ve never spotted this, as the drunk!Rimmer scene is one of my all-time favourites.
    You have, however, given me an excellent excuse to watch it again.
