It is times like this I fucking hate the fact I’ve moved out of London.
I knew I’d miss some things, but when it comes to gigs I’d said I’d always get the train down for them (and I do).  I hadn’t really considered more niche things like this that it’s hard to justify a train ticket for.
That’s two of my favourite shows with fairly unique events happening a couple of months apart that I won’t be able to go to, that had I still lived in London I’d have been half an hour from.  The other (London’s Burning film screening at the LFB Museum) is mid week so hard to without taking time off work even get to if I did want to travel down.
London may be pricey but it gets all the cool shit.

    Whinge mode cancel.

[Things like this I would very happily justify the ticket price (it’s not terrible, with a railcard).  But the two closest stations – both only 5 mins away! – are completely inaccessible, with the closest accessible station on this line being a 45 min drive away, or 30 min drive to the other train line.  Which would be fine if I could drive myself but I’m not well enough, so it’s hard to justify asking one of my parents to drive me, especially when neither of them would be interested in coming.

This has been a self-indulgent whinge about the inaccessibility of a main London commuter line, normal programming will now resume.]

Ahhhhhhh that looks awesome!  At least we get to see pics, better than nothing.
