    anyone else hate how the first few notes of the opening (electric guitar) theme has an explosion sound over it? I always think there’s some interference with the tv or something.

    That’s the sound of Blue Midget flying by. Just like III and XI have Starbug launch sounds. And XII too if I’m remembering.

    It’s not exactly unique to X.

    The stupid “clang” sound effect when the X appears is much worse.
