Mr Charles, who also plays Lloyd Mullaney in Coronation Street, said: ?The new episodes are different, it has moved on and it’s kind of a 21st century Red Dwarf.”
?When we started doing them we were a bit unsure about it, but now I don’t know whether I prefer this or the original ones – they’ve all got their own merits. The Evening News presented the stars with Norwich goodie bags on their visit, which contained a copy of the Evening News, a bar of Caley’s chocolate, a Norwich City Football Club bookmark or notebook, a jar of Colman’s mustard and some postcards of the city.

Mr Charles said: ?Excellent, we are sorted for the day! Chocolate – that’s lunch.?

Mr Llewellyn said of his Norwich City notebook: ?I am meeting Stephen Fry soon, do you think this is something I should put on the dashboard of my car when I give him a lift, would that go down well with him??
