The thing is tough, I know there have been many (superficial) similaritied betweern Dwarf and new Who, but I can’t really think of any others in the classic series. Any that come to mind? Fast forward 20 years and a whole new generation of writers who grew up on the series have revived the show’s fortunes. Do you think this points the way for future Red Dwarf?- looking around just this forum there are numerous writers who are in this position, and when you have people such as Duncan Jones coming out and citing Dwarf’s influence the parallels are there. Or is Dwarf still considered too cult? Would Doug be open to this? Why am I asking while all you fuckers are asleep?
