    What are your personal views on the implant, and do you think we should accept it for the tv show’s canon?

    You missed option three ‘alternate but not inferior’.

    Of course it’s not canon for the TV series, though. It’s not even canon for all four novels!

    I can’t see how it wouldn’t be inferior versions, though. I mean Proper Character Development vs. Quickly Explained Cop-Out. There’s no contest.

    That’s exactly my view Jonathan. How can Andrew think of such a thing as the dreary option 3, it’s blashphemous to AJ’s glorious gitty nature.

    But that’s how you go about obtaining balanced polling data. Nothing to do with my opinion on the subject, just it’s an either/or question – and so a leading one. “Is Series VI an average series or a disappointment?”
