Need help identifying a prop

Hey all, was hoping someone could help me. Just purchased one of the prison gun production props from the Prop Store, they weren’t able to positively identify when and where specifically it was used, just that it was a production prop. I’ve uploaded photos of the gun and close-ups of distinguishing markings to help identify it, and was wondering if anyone had any hi-res production stills of season 8 or other images showing the cast holding these guns in high enough detail to possibly identify it as one used in a specific episode by a specific castmember. I seriously doubt that,
If it was screen used by one of the main cast Propstore would have used that as an excuse to grossly increase the sale price and as such would have plastered all over it “OMG Listers gun! Roflols!” (obv. Those exact words)
I’m also fairly certain that there were several of these made for the filming, though i could be wrong!
In all likelihood it’s probably was used by some/one of the canaries extras – I’d guess from Cassandra.

@ RedDwarfFan2982: LOL, most likely not Lister’s, although they were probably interchangeable, meaning he might have used it at one point. The point is, I’m looking for visual proof, a high-definition screenshot or production still, that I can use to match the markings of the one I have.

@JEZZMUND: LOL, the only reason I have it is because I’m in the U.S. and it was much cheaper than most due to a new law stating they can’t ship replica guns within the UK, effectively making it illegal for you to obtain one. So even if I wanted to, I couldn’t ship it to you.. =)

Ah lol, Fair enough, but It does look similar, I’d have to rewatch series 8 to try and see who had it particularly.

I think that’s a gun used by one of the guards in the Tank, not the Canaries, although I’d need to rewatch the episode to verify.

Yep, apparently they have more than one.. =) The one they ship you is not the same as the one in the picture, the markings are different. It’s not even the same one as the photo on the COA.
