Will be interesting to see what the ratings are like for Part Three. April 11, 2009 at 9:20 am #95770 JawscvmcdiaParticipant That’s massive, I was expecting something much worse April 11, 2009 at 9:21 am #95771 hummingbirdParticipant I’m …. speechless. Almost. This is huge for a channel like Dave, isn’t it? Does anything else compare? Let’s hope the ratings stay high for 2 & 3. April 11, 2009 at 9:27 am #95772 NitroChrisUKParticipant absolutely fantastic. i was thinking if it got 1.5 then fantastic. but 2 million thats brilliant more or less on a par with all the shows on the main 5 channels and HIGHER than the golf on BBC 2. great job April 11, 2009 at 9:32 am #95773 hummingbirdParticipant I wonder if the BBC are now a little more interested in the audience that RD attracts? *writes* Dear BBC, prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark egg on your face. April 11, 2009 at 9:43 am #95775 WilburParticipant Well, hopefully those ratings will have been noted around the world and soon somebody will be buying the rights to show them in Australia. April 11, 2009 at 9:44 am #95774 JawscvmcdiaParticipant The fact that a 15 year old episode of Red Dwarf gets over 1 million viewers speaks for itself. April 11, 2009 at 10:11 am #95777 siParticipant 2,060,000 people watched new Red Dwarf on a digital TV Channel. That is fucking amazing. April 11, 2009 at 11:08 am #95783 SkyAndSunParticipant It’s fantastic. I hope it stays high for tonight and tomorrow’s episode. Will the BBC notice, though? For them 2 million isn’t that big, even though I’m sure you could times it by 4 if the shows were on the BBC. And do we want the BBC to notice, given their shunning of the RD? (I think yes – their money would make a difference and their audience would ensure the show’s future) April 11, 2009 at 11:24 am #95786 Michael WarrenParticipant Crikey. That’s huge – especially when you look at what Dave’s usual top rated programme gets, which over the last five weeks only once has a rating of more than 500,000… April 11, 2009 at 11:24 am #95787 Seb PatrickKeymaster http://www.ganymede.tv/atspeed/2009/04/two-million Author Replies Viewing 11 replies - 1 through 11 (of 11 total) Scroll to top • Scroll to Recent Forum Posts You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
