Yeah I kinda took it as a joke – perhaps Craig couldn’t make their meet up so they boys were taking the piss? And they know that an RD meet would have the fans getting far too excited…with Danny jokingly ‘revealing the Full Monty’ on the new series? Would seem odd only a month after Craig got ‘approached for the new series’ to recast… ^__^

It’s obviously a joke, Danny taking the piss. Though there’s no way Lister would be recast, regardless of the situation. If Craig didn’t want to/couldn’t do it you might as well forget the whole thing OR write Lister out. The same applies with any of the four boys.

I thought the same thing but then again they have recast Kochanski (and with a woman who is very different).
I guess when concerning the new series of Dwarf I am prone to jumping to negative conclusions, I’m just worried it won’t happen especially since it has been very quiet since Craig made the announcement. Plus it was late at night and I couldn’t sleep ;)

Highly unlikely. I’d have thought after spending ten years unsuccessfully pushing for a movie, Naylor et al are persuing the seemingly successful route of accepting Dave’s help in its revival. Will be exciting when we hear a bit more news on the new series…
