    Spider-Man’s been around for nearly 50 years. It took almost two decades for the first film to finally get made. I don’t think a couple of extra years between instalments is going to cause people to lose interest in the character…

    They are making Spiderman 4 and 5 right after each other arn’t they, or is that just wishful thinking by me.

    I’m just confused as to what happened to Spiderman 1, 2 and 3. Why would they jump straight to 4?

    Anyway, even of they are all fakes (which is very likely), I’ll be tempted not to see it if they put Carnage in it. Venom was bad enough, goddamn fucking symbiotes.

    Lizard is the most logical choice given he’s pretty much been in every film so far, sort of.

    The only thing that worries me about Spider-man being delayed is that it’ll be even longer for Sam Raimi to concentrate on ED4!

    Although I read that Bruce Campbell doesn’t want to do it any more. He supposedly commented on how poory Indy 4* was received. Returns never meet the fans expectations, etc, etc.)

    I reckon he would if Sam went ahead though. I’ve heard Sam and his brother Ivan have already started work on the script. Whether Sam just said that to pull the legs of the ED fans, I don’t know. ;)

    *That’s one film I was looking forward to that I haven’t seen yet.

    Anyway, I think Bruce probably is a little fed up of being known by a lot of people purely for ED, but he wrote to Empire after they ran an interview that pretty much said he didn’t want to do any more and said he enjoys them and would be up for more.

    Raimi should just get the fuck out of the Spider-man franchise right now and do stuff that’s actually worth something. After the excellence of 2 he should have packed it in there and then to go out on a high, then done ED4 off the back of that.
