SWAP 2 16th December tickets for ANY OTHER DATE

Hello!
I haven’t posted for a while but am still lurking about… Now I would like to ask this magnificent forum for a favour…
I received an email telling me I have tickets for the recording on Friday 16th… which ordinarily would have me jumping up and down screaming for joy.
Unfortunately, I have been told I have to work Friday night – with no chance of getting out of it whatsoever…
SO… I have two tickets. Anybody want to swap with me? Please, pretty please, with sugar on? Any other date is fine.
Anybody want to save the skin of an old-school Dwarfer?

Hi guys.

I’m in exactly the same position I’m afraid.

We’re moving offices on the 16th – which would normally qualify as a day off.

Unfortunately I work in IT, so will be knee deep in servers and network cables, trying to make sure it’s all working for Monday AM – whilst everyone else sods off for an early weekend.

My boss turned a funny shade of purple when I broached the issue of taking the afternoon off.

Have 2 tickets confirmed for Friday 16th – am prepared to swap for 2 tickets to any other date (preferably not the 23rd Dec, but can do it if necessary).

If anyone can help I will love you forever. Unless you’re not into that, in which case I will quietly swap the tickets and leave you in peace.

Paul, as I said above, I can swap my two 20th Jan tickets for two 16th Dec tickets. Since Kris got in there before me with danny f he has dibs on those, so we could swap? Although I guess for both swaps to happen and for everyone to happy Kris would need to confirm that he can indeed swap so we should just hold off ’til we hear from him again.

I’ve just noticed that the e-ticket has my name on it – hoping this won’t be an issue on the night. I might check with LostinTV regarding ticket swapping. Presumably they’re not going to demand ID on the door, but you never know.

Every show I’ve been to see taped here in LA – to date that’s two episodes of The Late Late Show with Confidence and a pilot for BBC America hosted by Dave Gorman – they’ve checked the ID of the ticketholder. The rules may be different for LostinTV, mind. I’d suggest getting in touch wiv’m.

Asked Jay from LostinTV about procedure for swapping tickets, and just got this reply:

Hi Paul,

I’ve just checked this for you and it’s no problem, providing you notify us of the swap. We will be checking names on the night, so we just need to know to whom they’re being reallocated.

[Edit: I should mention that I have actually received the E-Tickets from Jay and have spoken to him over the phone and confirmed what was said above; swaps are fine as long as somebody tells them it’s happened.]
