    Charmita, fellow Dwarfers!

Good to ‘meet’ you all, introducing myself firstly as a fan who is beyond excited at the forthcoming Easter specials!

I’m also on here to let you guys know about very special RD event, please indulge me by reading :)

Essentially, there’s to be a huge RD party for fans in the Aigburth Arms pub (recently re-named The Victoria, smegheads) in Liverpool – Saturday 11th April. We would love you, yes YOU, to come – and invite anyone else you think will enjoy welcoming the Boys from the Dwarf home! All sorts of Dwarfy madness going on from 4.30pm onwards!

Please find details in links below, won’t rant on and on until I have to wipe the rabid foam from my chin and start again.

Message me with any questions. I know travel and accommodation will be tricky at last minute but this is a unique event! Red Dwarf’s RETURNING to Earth. Where do you reckon Lister’s going to plot a course for first? His local – so let’s join him!
    Ange xx

Take it you won’t be able to make it along, though?? :(

I shall be barricaded in my home with my dearest friends, a big telly, a fast internet connection, and a bunch of podcasting equipment.

Shit. I thought I was coming round. I’d better find someone else with a big telly, quick.

While the Friday episode will be me and th’other’alf, I think I’m probably gonna be watching the Saturday one on my own, like a fucker. Though that’s nothing huge levels of Pro Logic II surround and a box of man-sized tissues won’t solve (that reminds me of watching the first two series’ of Who when I was living at home, locking myself in my room with the curtains drawn, phone off, shouting at anyone who disturbed me like a right psycho. Though at least I actually got to CONCENTRATE on the episodes then…). The Sunday ep could be a little problematic though. I might end up watching it on the Monday after the other two have been on again.

I’ll be doing this, but only because I live in the wrong smegging country. :-(

Right now I have literally no idea what I’ll be doing over the Easter weekend. Which is such an odd feeling in the circumstances.

I’ll be there Ange, I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I’ll have brown hair and a blue shirt.

When you see me, stick your hands down the back of my pants. I’ll pretend to be surprised and it’ll be hilarious.

    Booooo!

    >Right now I have literally no idea what I?ll be doing over the Easter weekend. Which is such an odd feeling in the circumstances.

This may sound like a daft question, but… do you reckon you’re actually going to watch them on broadcast?

Surely you’ll be here, watching us all argue about miniscule plot points and the Kryten “whine-o-meter”…?

What an absolutely bizarre situation that would be! “Oh man, that’s rubbish, why didn’t they just use the [insert Red Dwarf gizmo from a previous series]?” Me: “Ah, yeah, well, it turns out that prop got sold off in 2003. Also, we forgot.”

Ah no blisschick, which smegging country are you in? We’ll be posting up pics and videos for anyone who can’t make it along to see the fun they missed out on!

But if you’re in the UK you really have no excuses not to join us in Liverpool! Phil, very glad to hear you’re planning to come! Blue shirt, brown hair…I’ll remember to send my heat seekers down your pants ;) Whereabouts you travelling from? If you need any handy hints on somewhere decent to stay in Liverpool let me know.

Amongst all this organisation I’m distracted from getting excited about the new episodes! I’m going to bear a likeness to spare head three on the day if I don’t calm down! ;)

Anyhoo, if you’re not already, please follow me on http://www.twitter.com/AigburthArmsdo or check out the facebook event for details :) xx

Haha, I love that Rimmer quote. Perfect comedy timing! There will be plenty of dry white wine and perrier on offer at the pub :) Along with Cinzano Bianco! Followed by a bet to see who can climb the disco wall using only your lips … ;)

Hello, got an exciting update on the pub night.

There’s to be a special plaque unveiled to commemorate The Aigburth Arms’ place in Red Dwarf’s history – the show’s birthplace as Grant Naylor drank there as students.

Special guest to be announced so watch this space… and do please keep up with our event on http://www.twitter.com/AigburthArmsdo or on Facebook :)

In the meantime…….. it’s nearly 10th April, how excited are you because I’m just about set to burst like Lister’s head!! xxx

I’m sure it’s going to be epic and I’d certainly love to be there.

Incidentally, I will be in a country with neither Dave nor BBC on telly.
