Mainly revisited this as I stumbled across a good one for Cat earlier:

Okay, I admit I was skeptical how well that would join.

I hoped to find a subtle cut in the shadows like in “one take” scenes, but wasn’t prepared to watch them walk up and down that corridor all night.

Without the dialogue (monologue?) to listen to I just noticed how they very obviously just walk around that wall and then go back down the corridor they walked up.

Any other show would have just done a cut and made it look as though they’d turned a corner 

Kinda reminds me of The West Wing where they’ll weave in and out of rooms and down corridors and basically just end up back where they’ll weave started a lot of the time as they needed the walk to last a certain amount of time

Star Trek would put those scenes in the “turbo” lift and not worry about how long it took, even if they were only supposed to be going down a couple of decks.
