  • Just randomly pressing random and ended up here.

Fuck me, this takes me back! Groovetown and the original G&T design! I remember eagerly looking through episode capsules and the early articles. This and Groovetown were really my first foray into internet fandom. The early days of the DVDs too :) Good times

If you’ll excuse me, I’m just gonna go have flashbacks and play a clip show in my head.

  • I loved Groovetown, it too is one of my earliest memories of finding something Red Dwarf related online and thinking “this is exactly my kind of thing”. Certainly a huge inspiration for this place existing.

I remember back in the day (2004, if memory serves) getting inspired by this place and attempting a fan site for something else that would have had in-depth analysis and articles like here. Please don’t start reaching for the telephone to call your lawyer. It never lasted, mostly through laziness and realising my own limitations haha.

But I guess looking back, in early days of discovering fandoms, I was just looking for people who were like the folk here who think comprehensively about Red Dwarf, but also for other shows I loved.

Found some of over the years, but they’ll never be as good as your first, obviously.

Not one of them say “cunt” for one thing.
