Red Dwarf XI: The Game – Give & Take Playthrough Reviews Posted by Jonathan Capps on 24th December 2016, 17:49 A few days ago the ever reliable GameDigits delivered to us a fine Christmas present in the shape of their Give & Take update for Red Dwarf XI: The Game. It has ended up being an incredibly pleasant way to close out a year that’s been stuffed full of Red Dwarf activity and so I have once again recorded my first playthrough of the entire episode, along with my own brand of unfocused and unprofessional commentary. This game really has been one of the highlights of the year for me, and this latest update is definitely the best and most balanced yet. I did run into one quite significant bug in the first mission, but it was so much fun I really do hope it stays in! It’s lovely to think we’ve still got three episodes more to come next year but until then I hope you enjoy this nonsense and all have a lovely day tomorrow. Ed Christmas, everyone. Ed Christmas.
You should be ashamed of not recognising 51380008! Minus a superfluous zero it was what the calculator industry subsided on for decades! (Great video!)
You should be ashamed of not recognising 51380008! Minus a superfluous zero it was what the calculator industry subsided on for decades! Oh, of course! I was still in a cloche based haze and that one went over my head.

Thank you Jonathan – yet again another great and very useful video for us! We’ve already implemented a number of changes since watching this. The ‘Capps Power’ weapon is amazing! However, please be aware this ONLY happens on an emulator when pressing ‘Space’ to fire, so it’s an issue on mobile devices. Even with our emulators we couldn’t reproduce it. We suspect you must have a really high repeat rate on your keyboard, we’ve tried a number of PCs and can’t get this to happen. Even so we’ve put in a brute force fix to limit the rate of fire and will be present in our next update. Glad you guys liked the Kryten Files reference. We really appreciate your suggestions guys and it’s great we can bring a little G&T into the G&T update – I hope it brightened up your day :) Still lots more to come, lots more… As always, we’ll continue to improve the game and respond to the feedback we receive, plus we’re working on the Officer Rimmer update now. It’s coming on very nicely!
