TWAT!

Really getting pissed off with some of the anti-Doug comments on Facebook…but this one has me screaming with laughter. The guy is criticising Doug for not having done a direct follow up to Series VIII to explain the cliff hanger. A quick copy and paste will show you what has me screaming with laughter…

I could’ve write a better conclusion than Doug; If I was him I would grab all of the actors from series 8 and do a aftermath episode!

to which I replied:

“I would grab all of the actors from series 8 and do a aftermath episode!” 10 years has passed. It’s not feasible to pick up from the end of Series VIII with how much they have all aged. I am in no rush to hear the events that resolve the Series VIII cliffhanger. Provided that at some point it comes….and even if it didn’t, I wouldn’t be overly concerned. But I’d be happy to have it just casually mentioned in passing dialogue…”

But his reply is a classic

“Doug is always known for writing short cuts, the frequent dialouge thing was funny at first but directly at the end very annoying! plus so what if they’ve aged a little ur point is? they look 10 years younger to me and the make up hair and costumes done a tremendous job for Series X so why not? it’s not like thier disabled on wheel chairs and extremly wrinkled; they look good it can be set as another incarnation of what happened; I’m a writer I’m just stating opinion on Doug’s flaw for this episode”

I won’t bore you all with any more. But fuck me! I are a riter two!
