    Whenever a thread has new posts and I click on “xx new posts”, when my browser goes to the thread, it pauses for about 0.2sec and then jumps to the bottom, forcing me to scroll up counting one… two…

    I use Firefox V2.0.0.12 (and it did the same with V1. whatever)

    Anyone else have this problem?

    Yes. I just look for the word “new” in the comment header though.

    It happpens to me, too, but not all the time. As far as I can see it’s not a problem with our CMS. It attaches ‘#new’ after the URL which will take you to the first element with a ‘new’ id. Obviously something’s going slightly wrong in that latter part, which I’d assume is a browser side problem.

    Yes, I get this problem sometimes as well. In fact, I’ve just had it.

    I’ve got an upgrade to MY BACKEND that might fix it. When I get a chance to do it – it’s a BIG JOB.
