It’s kind of confusing, I know (and I’m not a big fan of the necessity of friend codes anyway, let alone ones that vary from game to game), but open up Mario Kart and after you’ve played online at least once you’ll see a 12-digit number (broken into 3 groups of 4) on your license on the screen where you select your game slot. Mario Kart is certainly fantastic…it has its flaws but every single one of them is more than balanced out by how much fun it is. And there’s Smash Bros…but Jesus goodness the lag on that game makes it downright unplayable at times. So much so that I don’t even bother trying to go online with it anymore…it’s a crapshoot whether I’ll get a decent connection to anyone or not. But otherwise, what is there? I hope there will be some good ones on the horizon. Also: whatever bonehead decided that the Wii version of Worms didn’t need online multiplayer should be shot 37 times through the face. For instance, at the moment, I’m very much depending on the fluke victory, which is harder to achive against 11 motivated people than one guy mucking around. ;) I did not know this about smash brothers, but if there’s anything I’m currently worse at than driving games it’s fighting games, so I can probably survive until the market catches up.
