Okay. I am a massive, massive comic book fan. I love superheroes. I love the mythology, iconography and history of the superhero. I think Superman, Batman and Spider-Man are the closest thing we have to a modern-day version of the likes of Beowulf, Aeneas and Robin Hood. I want to make a career out of writing comic books about superheroes.

But for fuck’s sake, anyone who dresses up as a superhero and pretends to fight crime deserves to be shot on sight.

The Green Scorpion is colour blind, Superhero has had an originality bypass, and Superbarrio should really be called Superburrito. Queen of Hearts is either a bag-lady or a hooker.

Where do these people find the time…?

I was once saved by Black Arrow, I was tied to the train track and she stopped the train using the power of the mind.

Some of those masks are pretty scary! Quite a good look though, compared to some of the other costumes I’ve seen.
