It’s basically just a home for all the Who-related stuff we would have been posting on NTS if it hadn’t closed – commenting on current goings-on, musing on assorted miscellany from the Whoverse old and new, and occasionally (when we can be bothered) even reviewing things. Fancy that. Anyway, I know there are a fair few fans of the show around here (since our Who threads thrive so well), so if you’re someone who likes both this site and Doctor Who (or if you followed our writing over on NTS), then hopefully you’ll get on with what we’re trying to do. Have a look, and see what you think. And if anyone’s interested in contributing at any point, we’re but an email away… Creator Topic Viewing 13 replies - 1 through 13 (of 13 total) Author Replies February 10, 2010 at 2:51 pm #108730 TheLeenParticipant OH. February 10, 2010 at 5:29 pm #108731 Seb PatrickKeymaster And as the first commenter, ChrisM wins a prize! It’s… this picture of Colin Baker looking perturbed! (I was going to get ’70s Porn Colin Baker, but didn’t want to Google Image it at work) February 10, 2010 at 6:15 pm #108734 MuzzyParticipant Great idea, glad you’ve done this. Possibly the greatest name for a website ever too… February 10, 2010 at 10:39 pm #108741 SomebodyParticipant One minor issue – there’s a “Continue Reading ?” jump on every post, not just the ones that are cut. Could you fix that? ‘kthanksbye. February 10, 2010 at 11:08 pm #108742 Seb PatrickKeymaster I’ve noticed that, but I don’t know if it’s fixable (we didn’t build the theme). I’ll check with Capps. February 11, 2010 at 1:21 am #108747 pfmParticipant I absolutely love the choice of doc pics for the banner. The Pertwee one reminds me of the recently discovered (by me, at least) greatest fun fact in the history of the world, which is that Peter Jackson worked on the special effects for the ‘Worzel Gummidge Down Under’ series and that’s where he met his partner, Fran Walsh, who wrote some of the episodes! February 11, 2010 at 5:34 am #108753 Ben PaddonParticipant Fantastique! If you ever need more contributors give us a jingle. February 11, 2010 at 6:09 am #108754 Arlene Rimmer BSc SScParticipant Lovely site, which is going right into my bookmarks. I look forward to your future reviews and articles on whether Moffat-led Doctor Who is transcendently, mind-bogglingly awesome or merely overwhelmingly awesome. February 11, 2010 at 3:00 pm #108757 Nick RParticipant Yeah, those banner picture choices are great. Encountered some nice header quotes too (Lawrence Miles lol). Got any articles/retrospective reviews planned, or is it mostly going to be commentary on news items until the new series starts? February 11, 2010 at 3:37 pm #108759 Seb PatrickKeymaster Longer articles/reviews are definitely planned! Capps is tackling the Writer’s Tale II : The Bloodening as we speak, and we’ll definitely be covering some TV stuff (and other bits and bobs) old and new. But at the moment it’s an “as it strikes us” sort of thing rather than any specific set plan or anything. Thanks, I’m so proud! >I was going to get ?70s Porn Colin Baker, but didn?t want to Google Image it at work. Actually, looking at that facial expression… Okay lets not go there.
