The last week or so I’ve been re-reading everything in the reviews section, as it’s been a while since I last had a peek at them. Fantastic reading material for late nights with a drink, a few ciggies and Iggy Pop blasting out of my speakers!

But I can’t help noticing an omission from the reviews list – no Bobby Llewellyn novels?! For shame, sirs! This highly cultured, intelligent and philosophical site needs reviews of the Krytie books as much as it needs reviews of ‘Fat’ or ‘The Log’. And here’s where my question comes in – would I be allowed to write and submit a review of my favourite Llewellyn novel ‘Sudden Wealth’ for the reviews section??*

*if you say yes, I’ll bake you a cake.

Sure, send it in! There’s obviously no guarantee of it being published – but write it, and we’ll take a look, and see if it fits the site.

That goes to everyone else out there, too, if anyone feels like contributing an article.

Thanks for getting back to me John. I’ll start writing it tomorrow on my day off work.

Can I review Brother Nature using only expletives and references to bodily functions?

I’d like to review forum members based on number of posts and relative homosexuality.

So does having an increased post count also increase the probability that you will have sex with family of the same gender?

    In my experience, yes.

    Why am I not surprised.

Why do people have such a fucking problem with me asking a question that was not even directed at them?

I don’t think the comments were directed at you Richey. Or intending to criticize your ideas and contribution. They’re just smegging about.

I literally have no idea what you’re referring to.

Personally, I was commenting on the posts immediately prior to mine. Namely, Phil’s experience of having sex with family of the same gender.

I was refering to Phil’s initial post. Seemed like an unwarranted snipe at me and I just wondered what his problem was. I’d have sent my message to Ian and John privately if there was a private message funtion on the forum. There isn’t, so I had to post it here.

You haven’t been here very long, have you?

It most definitely wasn’t. I shouldn’t think anybody cares in the slightest that you asked John and I a question publicly.

I?d have sent my message to Ian and John privately if there was a private message funtion on the forum.

See where it says “contact” at the top of the page? That form sends a message to all the G&T staff (not just me and John… it hasn’t been just me and John for about three years now).

Or, you can click on someone’s name, then press the “contact” tab if you want to e-mail them directly.

    >Seemed like an unwarranted snipe at me

Read it in conjunction with Mick’s post immediately before it and you may recognize it as a minor entry in the “snowballing absurdity” school of yuck-yucks.

Chill out babe, love, Lynne. (That last one.)
