Scroll to bottom Creator Topic December 1, 2022 at 1:18 pm #280191 PodeyParticipant As a bit of unusual “memorabilia”, I purchased this page of painted Smegazine artwork from Roger Langridge at Thought Bubble convention back in about 2018. I imagine he still has the rest of the pages so if you ever go to a comic con that he is attending (he seems to do a few in the UK each year) it’s worth asking him about it as they’ll be stashed away in his portfolio. The page, like most British comic art, is A3 sized with the lettering on a separate acetate sheet (that’s the bits of sellotape you can see at the top) and I think it cost me about £60-70 quid which isn’t bad going for one-of-a-kind published work. This is obviously a spoiler for a future issue so, if you’re reading along for the first time with the podcast, I guess don’t look at the words…? I’m guessing it’d be an archival/rights nightmare, but I’d love a collected Smegazine strip graphic novel.
