Ah this really was the Red Dwarf comeback everyone was hoping for, an absolute masterpiece! I laughed until I bled. The way they got back to earth, who’d have thought they were actually playing “Better than Life!” A great plot twist. And to actually end up back on Red dwarf, still in deep space at the end, what a cliff hanger! Obviously setting it up for the just announced 6 part series next year. Heaven!

I’m sure it’ll happen, perhaps Nov/Dec or if there really is more Dwarf at some point they could release it just before that comes on (similar to how the LOTR trilogy will probably get the planned massive Blu-ray release in 2011 to get people prepared for The Hobbit).

‘Additional Material’ doesn’t suggest extras to me, more like extra content on the main feature or the making of.

I would have thought the usual stuff: smeg ups, deleted scenes, etc – stuff that adds value without them actually having to create more content. Commentaries would be nice though.

And didn’t Bobby say that he was filmed when he was fitted for the rubber head? But that could be for the ‘making of’ rather than the DVD.
