I think it would be good to have a general topic solely dedicated towards debating Brexit, considering how important it is and how likely it is that any withdrawal will affect the vast majority of members here.

Anyway, today speaker John Bercow has refused a government an opportunity of holding a “yes” or “no” vote on its Brexit deal. Bercow is clearly a “marmite” character who is either loved or loathed, depending on which side of the debate you sit on. However Parliament should, in any case not be bullied into deciding on Brexit until full scrutiny of Johnson’s deal is complete. Who knows then what will happen in the next ten days before we are due to leave on the 31 October (if we even do now). Anyone who claims to know where this will end is lying.

What’s worse, Brexit or the Grant/Naylor split?

Is a Red Dwarf fansite really in need of a thread debating Brexit? Especially when said fansite is occupied by plenty of people from outside these isles, and has forum software pretty poorly suited for debating.

How did it feel when the EU and the UK broke up with each other?

We absolutely do not need a thread about Brexit.

    >Muesli

i’ve never had muesli…it looks very dry. i did have grape nuts once though, which i think is a similar sort of thing. they were very dry too, it was like eating a bowl of sand

I imagine people who eat muesli for breakfast are very healthy, but at what cost?

Muesli’s been my favourite type of cereal since I was a teenager, more recently joined by granola. I find it more interesting and filling than flakes and stuff. Usually have cooked breakfasts though.

Fun fact: Breakfast is not important. All that shit about “the most important meal of the day” is marketing nonsense. If you’re not hungry, don’t eat anything. You’ll be fine.

I don’t really care for cereal all that much anymore, I’m partial to a bowl of Crunchy Nut but I’d be eating it at midnight rather than 8am

It’s also nonsense that eating before you go to bed will cause you to gain weight. That doesn’t make ANY sense. You don’t stop burning calories at night, and even if you did you would continue burning calories the next day anyway. What causes you to gain weight is eating EXTRA before bed. If you eat 2000 calories over the course of the day, it literally does not matter when you eat those calories.

So much nutritional advice is utter shash

    I’m eating musli right now.

Am I the only one who’s noticed Museli sounds a bit like Bruce Lee?

My muesli doesn’t talk, let alone with a Hong Kong accent.

But it is a well documented fact that museli does belief in self determination and freedom from tyranny. It just has no way of expressing it.

Can the next Jawscvmcdia (2) thread have a funnier name to make me laugh and shake my head every time I see it pop up rather than make an “eugh” sound, please? The previous one was quite good.
