It’s probably not a bad deal for the UK/Europe regulars either, but you’d need to have a multi-region DVD player. They stated they were Region 2 on the box, but they weren’t. And plus, not enough anime gets to the UK on its own. Codes are a necessary evil. In fact the earlier versions of PS3 might be able to use the PS2 version. Of course that costs money but they’re pretty cheap.
