I’ve downloaded but not listened yet and so can say nothing about it’s quality. It appears to be hosted by a couple of experienced Doctor Who podcasters who may or may not be American. Until I do listen, I’m going to guess that they are… http://paultowsley.com/tongue-tied-a-red-dwarf-podcast Creator Topic Viewing 2 replies - 1 through 2 (of 2 total) Author Replies February 10, 2014 at 11:32 am #209699 Ian SymesKeymaster They are indeed American. I lasted about ten minutes, and I was still waiting for them to actually start talking about Red Dwarf, rather than Doctor Who, podcasting in general, and themselves. Does it get any better, does anyone know? February 11, 2014 at 6:22 pm #209704 ori-STUDFARMParticipant I enjoyed it in the same way as I just enjoy listening to people talking about Red Dwarf. You’re not going to get any expert talk in this, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. These are guys who love the show, but don’t actually know much by way of trivia or general RD knowledge that we’re probably accustomed to on G&T. (Early Scuttercast? :) ) It sounds bad, but I actually found it interesting a couple of guys puzzling over why the ship is 3 million years away from Earth. I get the impression that this may be the first time they’ve gone through the show in episode order. And they’ve not yet seen RDX, so there are elements of an introcast here. They’re only doing 10 episodes I think. Each episode covers a full series/season and they’re only doing them monthly. For me it’s easily worth a listen. But I can see how the more devoted RD fan might nit beinterested in what they have to say.
