I’m not surprised this gets cut for any pre-watershed airings but it’s the only time I’ve noticed a cut when streaming. Not a big issue, but thought it might interest people. I assume it’s the same when watching on Sky Q. March 7, 2022 at 2:44 pm #272146 Jonathan CappsKeymaster Interesting, I wonder if this is the pre-watershed UKTV cut? March 7, 2022 at 3:02 pm #272147 Flap JackParticipant Ah, yes, I noticed this a little while ago, because I saw someone bring it up on Reddit (in the brief period where I was investigating if the Red Dwarf subreddit was worthing checking on) and went to check. It does indeed appear to be the exact same edit that was documented in detail on this very site in 2012 when Dave were doing pre Series X marathons. I guess when GOLD were making episodes available to stream, they didn’t take care to check which versions they used. It’s not consistent either, because I checked for another of the more noticeable edits in a different episode and it was the unedited version (though I can’t recall what it was). Also, don’t worry, they have the non-Remastered Marooned. March 7, 2022 at 4:27 pm #272149 Jonathan CappsKeymaster Also, don’t worry, they have the non-Remastered Marooned. I’m almost disappointed, actually. March 7, 2022 at 5:09 pm #272150 Quinn: Clochebusters World ChampionParticipant Also, don’t worry, they have the non-Remastered Marooned.
