The reason I’m asking is that both the Red Dwarf References List and the Plot Inconsistencies Project only go up to Series VII and i’d like to produce an updated version that includes VIII and the Dave era and I felt that i should get Annette’s permission.

I vaguely recall seeing something that said basically anyone had permission to continue the work, but I may have imagined that.

FWIW, all of the Darrell recommendations are now gone. In fact, I meant to take them out ages ago, but this thread has reminded me to do so.

I will now resort to baiting Tumblr to fill up the gaps, by writing a Rimmer/Lister scat story.

Can’t you just do your own thing that happens to start with VIII anyway? Or start from the beginning (by which I mean The End) yourself? There are no dibs in listing Dwarf references.
