I did a post about this yesterday that was thoroughly eaten by the G&T editing feature, so here we go again – the entire run of Red Dwarf, including series XI, is now on BritBox in the US. I’ve checked and there’s no music replacement, no substitutions of Xtended or ReMastered episodes… it all seems pretty kosher.

TOS hasn’t posted about this yet – it’s not even listed on their On Demand page – but it’s a cool find if you happen to be one of the three people who frequent this site who don’t own any of the DVDs.

What an odd choice, to put all the xmas specials as separate entries. If you’re binging a show you have to stop at the appropriate time, search for the special to watch it, then continue with the rest of the series.

It feels like the people creating britbox have never actually used a streaming service.

Be less BritBox, be more BritMosque.

At least the Christmas specials recommend their respective main shows for similar programmes now. Before they were all prioritising the Only Way is Essexmaseseses.

Doctor Who is now on BritBox in the UK.

I do appreciate that in the approach to Christmas, BritBox added a few festive episodes for series which it otherwise doesn’t host at the moment:
    Steptoe
    Are You Being Served?
    Some Mothers Do Ave’Em
    Rising Damp

Oh, Britbox is still going then. They’ve lasted longer than I expected.
