Red Dwarf XI and XII Mobile Games removed!

No sure if this has been mentioned before but it seems both of the Red Dwarf Mobile games have been removed from the App Store

I have swapped over to a new iPhone and noticed when I attempt to redownload the Red Dwarf games a message pops up saying this app has been removed

Does anyone know when they were removed and is it the same for Android users to

Quite sad as I never did complete the XII Game

They were removed years ago and XII was never finished. Shame as they were ok from what I remember. Oddly the developers were pretty proactive in communicating with fans then all of a sudden everything just stopped point blank.

If you dig around on the right areas of the web you can find the apk files for them. (Which is obviously only a help for Android, but at least the games aren’t lost.)

I intend to put the Android APKs up for download in a revamped Downloads / Archive section at some point, but in the meantime use the contact form if you want the files.

Won’t be able to help with the iOS versions, though.

I got distracted trying to reverse engineer them and then got tired and stopped. They’re all over the internet on various APK websites and that’s where I got these from so I can’t guarantee quality and take no responsibility for what they do to your phone blah blah blah, but I’ve run these copies on my own devices without incident:

When you play XII can you report back on what the first character unlock is? I’m pretty sure it’s not random at all but haven’t had chance to confirm it.

My dream was a reverse engineer so I could maintain builds that keep up to speed with new Android versions, and at the same time take a peek at some game logic to see how it was put together.
