Im assuming its ok to begin my own thread, to broadcast news about the game IVe been making for the last two years for reddwarf fans (next up is dalek invasion wars).
If youve already been following and have waited patiently I apologize for any repeats.
I really want to press this forward as soon as now so expect it soon.
If the admins fancy popping by Portsmouth for a cuppa and an exclusive look-in , Im waiting already.
Obviously I want people of importance to get first look. the rest of you plebs must wait a teeny bit longer, but this is definitely rolling out one way or the other.
I love cod moh bf42 had type games of course, and this could be the one to beat them all, or the one that could bind em.

As someone who works in the games industry, runs a gaming website, and has a history in games design, 3D modelling and C programming, I may well have had something constructive to say, but as you’re clearly a complete gobshite I shall simply wish you well in your endeavours and give this thread a very wide berth.

(after another long night script-editing (I changed me mind about doing some map editing ok, decided to stick strictly to scripts in accordance to the scriptures.. ahem))

Pip Pips,
now added rank-coloured pips, when orders are given in multiplayer mode, you should pay attention to the coloured star prefixing the commands. senior ranking players obviously have more experience than the green noobies.
do I need to draw up a coloured chart to simplify this men?
(wonder if anyone ever makes it to the captains’ whites)(really really difficult, explanations due)

The one I’m thinking of isn’t as good as that one seems to be. I’m going to have to give it a proper play at some point. It won’t run on Windows 7 but I’ve got it going in DOSBox on my tablet.

I seem to remember a text game where I didn’t get much further than the confrontation with the bliss freak. I also remember it took me an eternity to work out how to get it to do anything. Then again, I’d have been about 7 at the time so that’s not that surprising.

Ive done another retrostyly version(scrubbed to do this 3d version wherein I had to learn everything from scratch again)
it featured a 4 player affair(on one pc keyboard+2 joysticks) top down action ala Chaos engine kinda) was a lotta fun playing it. will upload this to my site in time as well,just dont expect it to ever get finished though sorry.)

I just want the guys wearing the superadmin pants to try it out,review it and attract some attention, You want it I got it.
just in case you dont know this already……
the single player mode features many things to do, wandering around aimlesslessly, or purposely completing tasks to advance grades in a multitude of career choices, collecting items, solving problems, repairing machines,interacting with computers and artificial intelligence,unlocking skills, doors and advanced levels, combating denizens featured in the show, with a marvellous array of weaponry and vehicles, including the bazookoids, gren launchers , scoped rifles, machine guns, plasma bolt guns etc, and ability to climb inside many of the shows ships, launch across vast regions of space, visiting nearby planets, ships and other regions, in your search for sanity stranded in space. dig out those files and folders to keep tabs on your crew and your own personal abilities which are all stored on records to judge your abilities as a future 3rd technician collar worker or the ultimate seat in the Captains Quarters.

ITs got all the above in it already and more, including botmatches (stop playing with the AI kids you might break them), Survival (zombie style but red dwarf style), Can you survive the onslaught? you can run, jump shoot and fly but you cant hide.

and then theres the many multiplayer modes – Free for all,Crew Wars(Teams versus teams versus teams versus teams), Capture, Capture the Flag(holly hop drive), hold, protect, hold and protect and so on and on and on.

Im ready to show this but it must be done right.

and of course the cooperative editing mode, where u and your friends can redesign the ships insides to your hearts content, (hopefully do a better job than me, but hey Im doing every fucking thing round here ahem), create the rooms Ive missed, anything youlike, chop and change, alter it how you want and then distribute it to others impressed by your work. ITs like a whole new miningcraftcunthinggummyblob.
Its not complicated,
eventually youll have a whole plethora of new missions,places created by others to visit and Pwn!

trust me this is the one youve waited for long enough. (not boasting better graphics than some of these modern game engines, but hey , its a start and you will all be able to make it how you want it.
