Been meaning to download Wrinkles for absolutely ages but a kitchen in need of decorating & a recent re-watching of ‘It’s Cold Outside’ (a reminder of the brilliance of legit actor David Ross) gave me the prompt to download the bloody lot & listen to it as I changed the paint from ocean grey to military grey (well, magnolia to magnolia, actually).
Got S2EPS4+5 to listen to yet & I really want to savour the remaining morsels of this veritable smorgasbord of comedy brilliance. Just wanted to say cheers for putting these up, it’s been fascinating discovering non-Dwarf Grant & Naylor.

Initial thoughts: Driving the mayor around in ‘The Mayor’s Visit’ is truly hilarious as is Winston’s misunderstanding about Tom looking for scraps and is anyone else reminded of sprout soup etc. from ‘Quarantine’ by the various cat dishes in ‘Mr. Morton’.
    Also what does compute mean?

I’m really glad you’re enjoying them! They didn’t get a huge amount of reaction at the time, so it’s nice to see people discovering them.

We have some more stuff like that coming soon – watch this space, as they say.

    That was Terry Nation.

Or was that a Michael Moore show?

No, no, that was Telly Nation.

    Too confusing.

I must confess, I listened to an episode of Wrinkles a day or two ago, and it didn’t really grab me. Wasn’t all that impressed.
