Slightly off topic so I’ve stuck this into the forum instead,
But it seems Dr Dwarf now has an equal and a nemesis in the form of
The Master Hitchhiker.

After watching the “sound of drums” story of origin of the Masters
madness being caused when he was a young boy on gallifrey, I couldnt
help but think any fans of HitchHikers Guide might have found some
of what happened a little similar to this concept and story line…

Still in a small way nice to once again see douglas adams ideas being
referenced in Dr Who if that is what it is.

Yeah, I suppose that The Master is like Zaphod Beeblebrox in that looking into the Vortex makes him think of himself as the most important being in the universe.

This is all building up to the reveal that DNA didn’t die in 2001 – he regenerated into RTD.

(Bah, typing that made me think how awesome it’d be to have Douglas Adams writing for the revived series. It’d definitely have happened. Ecclestone and/or Tennant acting from a Douglas Adams script… cor.)
