Best know for the music from The Weakest Link, The Chase, Dancing On Ice and Gladiators (revival). Interesting to see a different composed being use on the show (outside of library music being used). March 30, 2020 at 12:37 pm #258326 OfflineMember ‘Best know for the music from The Weakest Link, The Chase, Dancing On Ice and Gladiators (revival).’ This I gotta hear! March 30, 2020 at 1:30 pm #258329 Ben SaundersParticipant The Weakest Link and The Chase actually have pretty fantastic music honestly March 30, 2020 at 8:30 pm #258331 RidleyParticipant https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCamQGC_eoWhdFqqNVDobZRQ July 5, 2020 at 5:03 pm #259476 siParticipant A new track’s popped up on Paul Farrer’s YouTube channel. ‘Saving Kryten’. July 6, 2020 at 12:00 pm #259508 siParticipant I keep trying to share the links for three more new tracks that have appeared on there, and nothing’s happening. So, one by one: ‘Starbug Launch : The Anubis Stone’ – https://youtu.be/QUtiygBsxAs July 6, 2020 at 12:01 pm #259509 siParticipant …’Crash Landing’ – https://youtu.be/wBbNg_votLk July 6, 2020 at 12:02 pm #259510 siParticipant …and ‘Moonlight / Starbug Escape’ – https://youtu.be/oqi98Lw7dAQ There. July 6, 2020 at 12:17 pm #259514 Ian SymesKeymaster Sorry Si, multiple links in one post will get you caught in the spam filter. You’ve only been here for eighteen years or so, we can’t be too careful. It’s lovely that Paul Farrer is sharing all this stuff, it’s just a shame that after a short period on Twitter the other week in which he described BLM protesters as a “mob”, pledged his support for Glinner and JK Rowling’s transphobia, and ranted across multiple tweets about “the woke taliban”, he’s revealed himself to be a complete twat. July 6, 2020 at 12:27 pm #259515 siParticipant Really? Oh, that’s a shame. Oh well, let’s just listen to music, eh? And maybe watch Father Ted, read Harry Potter, and throw a big party for Dolphy while we’re at it? July 6, 2020 at 12:31 pm #259516 Ian SymesKeymaster Father Ted is fine, it was written entirely by Arthur Matthews. July 6, 2020 at 12:32 pm #259517 siParticipant IT Crowd? July 6, 2020 at 12:38 pm #259518 Ian SymesKeymaster Was shit in the first place, no loss. July 6, 2020 at 1:16 pm #259519 DaveParticipant It’s Big Train for which I grieve. July 6, 2020 at 1:21 pm #259520 clemParticipant Hardly anyone seems to agree with this but the Glinnerless second series is *at least* as good as the first. And I could never get into The IT Crowd. July 6, 2020 at 1:21 pm #259521 Ian SymesKeymaster Big Train was 100% Matthews too, I’ve decided. July 6, 2020 at 2:07 pm #259522 Ben SaundersParticipant “the woke taliban” ??? fuck me July 6, 2020 at 2:57 pm #259523 DaveParticipant Big Train was 100% Matthews too, I’ve decided. We need to digitally erase him from the “Dere’s more to Ireland dan dis” conversation from IAP too. July 6, 2020 at 3:47 pm #259524 GlenTokyoParticipant If The Woke Taliban was a gangsta rap group, I’d buy their album. July 6, 2020 at 3:49 pm #259525 Ian SymesKeymaster We need to digitally erase him from the “Dere’s more to Ireland dan dis” conversation from IAP too. No, both of those were Arthur Matthews, using make-up and split screen. Ironically, Arthur only wanted to dress up as Graham so that he could gain access to a special complete-wankers-only toilet. July 6, 2020 at 4:00 pm #259526 DaveParticipant I am actually laughing out loud at these #GlinnerFacts. July 6, 2020 at 5:59 pm #259527 cwickhamParticipant Arthur Matthews is the real writer of the Harry Potter books. July 6, 2020 at 6:30 pm #259528 Ben SaundersParticipant Hatsune Miku developed Minecraft July 7, 2020 at 12:03 am #259533 Flap JackParticipant Wait, Arthur Mathews wrote the score for Red Dwarf: The Promised Land? Bit of a strange career move, but he did a good job. Or maybe it isn’t so strange. After all, isn’t he writing a Father Ted musical? It was announced in 2018 and was being written in 2019 with… Graham Linehan. Shit. July 7, 2020 at 1:41 am #259534 siParticipant No, Neil Hannon. Arthur Mathews and Neil Hannon. That’s it. Definitely no-one else. July 7, 2020 at 9:25 am #259535 Jonathan CappsKeymaster He’d counted Neil Hannon twice! July 7, 2020 at 12:32 pm #259536 siParticipant Get Neil Hannon doing the music for the next Red Dwarf. I’d definitely listen to that. Well, I would anyway, obviously, but… y’know what I mean. July 7, 2020 at 1:11 pm #259537 DaveParticipant The Divine Strawberry July 7, 2020 at 2:30 pm #259538 cwickhamParticipant Wonder if the book for the Ted musical will ever get leaked online or something. It’s basically unproduceable now. July 7, 2020 at 2:30 pm #259539 clemParticipant Casanova 5 National Xpress Lifts Holly Bobs Her Hair July 7, 2020 at 2:57 pm #259540 siParticipant Becoming More Like Arnie. July 7, 2020 at 7:00 pm #259541 DaveParticipant Come Home Billy Doyle The Happy GELF How Can You Leave Me On My Own, More Or Less July 13, 2020 at 9:54 pm #259571 KatydidParticipant Probably worth posting all of these in an article so people can more easily find them. July 14, 2020 at 11:08 am #259578 bloodtellerParticipant i don’t think there should be a G&T article promoting music made by a transphobic racist piece of shit July 14, 2020 at 11:15 am #259579 siParticipant Yeah, maybe best to keep it here, for only the *really* curious to investigate. July 14, 2020 at 11:42 am #259581 Ian SymesKeymaster For the record, while I do not like the guy at all based on his behaviour online, the only reason there isn’t a front page article collating these links is that this isn’t something we tend to do. The forum is perfectly adequate for that function. July 14, 2020 at 8:59 pm #259594 KatydidParticipant Here’s an easy playlist. July 14, 2020 at 9:09 pm #259595 DaveParticipant Probably worth posting all of these in an article so people can more easily find them. For a moment I honestly thought you were referring to the puns.
