I also REALLY liked the music played at Kochanski’s grave, it made me tear up and feel sorry for a character i hated. I hope this and many tracks make it as music cues on the DVD which i will proudly be buying in hope for more red dwarf. I think. Hopefully, the TOS Music Library list will be updated for BtE too. Personally, I dug the dimension cutting track. April 13, 2009 at 8:55 pm #96416 AndrewParticipant It’s a track by The Response Collective: http://www.myspace.com/theresponsecollective April 13, 2009 at 8:59 pm #96417 p2p_productionsParticipant Hang on, it’s coming up in a minute. I’ll double-check the subtitles. April 13, 2009 at 9:01 pm #96418 p2p_productionsParticipant Yep. Subtitles definately say ?I?m The Magnificent? by Special Ed. Any idea why? April 13, 2009 at 9:05 pm #96419 AndrewParticipant They guessed wrong. I mean, that title, those words, are sung as part of the song, Someone probably Googled and took a shot. Shame they didn’t click the video on YouTube, cos that really ain’t the same track. Happens, sadly, all the time. Broadcast and DVD. Not great. I remember Duct Soup ending on BBC2 with Lister’s promise to introduce Kryten to a ‘red hot brandy’. April 13, 2009 at 9:09 pm #96420 p2p_productionsParticipant Yeah, the lyric ‘I’m the magnificent’ appears in the track. Probably why they got it confused with Special Ed. >I remember Duct Soup ending on BBC2 with Lister?s promise to introduce Kryten to a ?red hot brandy?. Tell me about it. If I recall, one of the Star Trek: Voyager subs back in the day read, “Engage manoeuvre, on mega tree”. April 13, 2009 at 9:14 pm #96422 Seb PatrickKeymaster “Oh, shut up, Patrick”. Music : can’t say I was hugely keen. It felt quite jarring, at odds with the style elsewhere in the show (which I’m guessing was mostly if not entirely library?), and I didn’t think it was that great a track. But it was hardly an episode-ruiner, either. April 13, 2009 at 9:56 pm #96434 DaveParticipant “Mickey, I’ll stop your benefits. Yeah, birth claims” April 13, 2009 at 11:12 pm #96468 DaveParticipant >Is it not ?Yeah, both claims?? Yep. Unless you rely on the BBC2 subtitles. April 13, 2009 at 11:13 pm #96471 DaveParticipant What happened there? April 13, 2009 at 11:22 pm #96477 PhilParticipant You were too quick for me…I realized too late the point you were actually trying to make. NOW LEAVE ME ALONE April 15, 2009 at 8:14 am #96781 bananas26Participant Yes it is a track by The Response Collective and its called Tropical State Remix: http://www.responsecollective.co.uk April 15, 2009 at 8:37 am #96785 Ian SymesKeymaster What do you play in the band, bananas26? April 28, 2009 at 11:16 am #98245 bananas26Participant The triangle. Like it makes a difference.. April 28, 2009 at 5:14 pm #98256 CarlitoParticipant Bananas26, what is it with you? Always with the triangle, your solution to everything is the triangle. There are problems that can’t be solved by triangles. May 6, 2009 at 9:46 pm #98552 Ben PaddonParticipant Not all missions can be solved with chess, Deep Blue. Someday you’ll understand that.
