I work in a Nuclear Medicine department and a patient usually needs to know various restrictions on what activities they can do depending on what procedure they have, i remember a patient some time ago who coincidentally had the name ‘Michael Barrymore’ asking if he was ok goin swimming?….!, made me chortle to myself(sorry!).

oh and there was a young girl, i forget her name who was heavily pregnant, she was having a lung scan and i was asking her if she had any more kids, she said she had 3 others all under 10.

Then when it was time for her injection and i told her she was going to feel a little prick!, she said it’s ok i’m use to that!!..(felt sorry for her husband), she was referring to how many injections she’d had while she’d been in but soon realised how it’d sounded.

Saying that, my friend and I still laugh about the time we were playing shops at about the age of 11, where my friend got a post-it on her arse saying ‘Big Bargain’. It still makes us laugh an unreasonable amount, considering.

It was my brother Tom’s 18th birthday at the weekend, and my nan was moaning at my uncle for getting him a card with a blonde bird with her tits out, urging him to make a contibution to a sperm bank. My uncle protested saying Tom was plenty old enough to know what it was about, but my Nan told him he didn’t want it ‘shoving down his throat’.
