A friend told about this post on livejournal in which the writer attacks Andrew Ellard. Ganymede gets a mention too. There’s clips of me in the montage, too! (Laying on the floor in a bar, with a Alienesque thing attempting to burst out of my chest) July 25, 2009 at 4:10 pm #101531 Danny StephensonKeymaster and my Lego vid is in there as well. Sorry, I know I keep mentioning it, but I am so VERY proud. July 25, 2009 at 4:11 pm #101532 DaveParticipant There?s no clips of me in the montage, because I was too busy looking forlorn and cameraless. July 25, 2009 at 10:45 pm #101534 pfmParticipant Does no-one know who it is yet? July 26, 2009 at 9:51 am #101542 Ian SymesKeymaster It’s clearly Norman. July 26, 2009 at 11:41 pm #101548 peas_and_cornParticipant I really hope it isn’t. July 27, 2009 at 1:14 am #101549 CarlitoParticipant It’s Doug Naylor, bet ya. July 27, 2009 at 8:50 am #101551 J_SpacedParticipant “Let’s not forget that these were the same guys that had the temerity to rip the shreds out of another fan’s film – a genuine and thoughtful submission to bbc’s ‘Points of View’ in which a fan(who in this case was deserving of the term ‘fan’)requested that the bbc not give up on red dwarf.” A tantalising clue to the twat’s identity perhaps? Also: no one can compete with Ed Wood. He rocked. July 27, 2009 at 1:39 pm #101561 PhilParticipant >A tantalising clue to the twat?s identity perhaps? Nah, that’s referring to Penny and her Points of View vid (I believe). She was certainly upset by the reception it got from G+T but she turned up to discuss it here on the site at the time. And I can say confidently that she’s nowhere near this vindictive, or hung up on it enough to give it this much thought. Could be an intentional mislead, though, like the “Kirk” comment. July 27, 2009 at 4:25 pm #101568 JoParticipant It continues! What fun :oP July 27, 2009 at 6:36 pm #101569 pfmParticipant Surely no-one could possibly be as deluded as to post here under 6 or more different names? They would have slipped up with the IP addresses long ago, the hassle of altering it, unless they went out of their way to use 6 seperate PCs, the correct ones without fail most of the time they posted. They would have to have several of them on at once during busy periods. ‘Out to lunch’ would be a generous phrase to use for that kind of behaviour. July 27, 2009 at 6:46 pm #101571 Jonathan CappsKeymaster It’s a pain in the arse checking IPs of users, so we never bother and unsuprisingly haven’t bothered in this case, because it’s clearly bollocks. We’ve kept well away from posting anything, but I appreciate the people who have. I think it might be getting to a point where it’d be a good idea to let it die, now, though. They’ve gone from being amusing to quite tedious now. July 27, 2009 at 11:48 pm #101594 pfmParticipant > It?s a pain in the arse checking IPs of users Which is why I found it funny when someone obviously did check my IP one time just to prove it was me posting under a different name. You’d think people would have better things to do. July 28, 2009 at 12:01 am #101597 WilburParticipant What- than post under another username? July 28, 2009 at 8:43 am #101607 Seb PatrickKeymaster >Which is why I found it funny when someone obviously did check my IP one time just to prove it was me posting under a different name. You?d think people would have better things to do. Yeah, but you’re special. July 28, 2009 at 11:32 am #101608 JoParticipant “special” July 28, 2009 at 4:01 pm #101616 hummingbirdParticipant As in ‘one of god’s special creatures’. July 28, 2009 at 5:13 pm #101617 ChrisMParticipant I love that scene in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels*. The ‘Rupert the Monkey Boy’ bit. Not that I’m suggesting PerformingMonkey is like that. (Apart from the ‘monkey’ in the name bit. Just noticed that. How ironic.) I just found loved that whole sequence very funny. *I’ve heard they’re planning on remaking it. How terrible. July 28, 2009 at 7:45 pm #101622 pfmParticipant Some of us are reserved a place. August 4, 2009 at 2:59 pm #101839 JoParticipant I understand most of the Red Dwarf references in their TMWRNJ video FAIL. August 4, 2009 at 3:25 pm #101840 Pete Part ThreeParticipant Does this remind anyone else of a certain thread on NTS? August 4, 2009 at 7:12 pm #101848 PhilParticipant Trouser Pig? August 4, 2009 at 8:30 pm #101850 Pete Part ThreeParticipant That’s the fella. August 4, 2009 at 8:46 pm #101853 Danny StephensonKeymaster Trouser Pig? Wasn’t that a deleted scene from the Simpsons Movie? August 4, 2009 at 8:58 pm #101855 Stabbim the SkutterParticipant I reckon Shane G is…Andrew Ellard, testing us to see how we’d react to him getting slagged off. “Oh yeah, I remember it well. Shane G says I’m a bad writer. You jump immediately to my defence saying ‘Really? That explains everything!'” August 5, 2009 at 5:57 am #101874 peas_and_cornParticipant John Hoare- they’re making fun of your name with a joke I’ve NEVER SEEN BEFORE. August 5, 2009 at 8:54 am #101877 SkyAndSunParticipant Johnnies? August 6, 2009 at 12:33 am #101921 pfmParticipant I would name my kid ‘Crack’ just for the crack. Mike Oxlong. Johnny Onmenob. August 6, 2009 at 12:59 am #101922 Ben PaddonParticipant Richard Cheese. August 6, 2009 at 6:29 pm #101948 Danny StephensonKeymaster Heywood Jabl?me August 6, 2009 at 9:15 pm #101949 Seb PatrickKeymaster Dewey, Cheatham and Howe.
