I log in to get into the site then made 1 post and it asked for name&password,but the second post it did not ask,so maybe it has to do with that thread only. I like the search!

Maybe I’m missing something ‘cos I’m only on me phone, but we don’t seem to have an option to go straight to the new posts anymore. So I’ve got to remember what comments/replies I’ve read, and how many there were last time, in order to work out if there’s anything new and amusing to read. Which is a wee but frustrating.

I’m on my home computer, and I’m not getting that option either. Now I can’t tell if there’s anything worth reading around here.

Fair enough. Oh, another thing – I’d just got used to being able to edit posts, and now…well, I can’t. Dunno if that’s something that can be altered, but…y’know.

Registration was ultra quick

Having the ability to be able to post on G&T might take a bit of getting used to, might have to go back to lurking again.

I like the new pagination.

I miss the banners but I assume they are being worked on.

On other forums I use, my favourite buttons are always the “View Active Topics” and the “View Unread Posts Since Last Visit”. But I wouldn’t know if this forum format can support those things. Not a problem if it doesn’t….I’ll just have to try and remember where I was.

So I’m going through the forum from the olden days, right? I click Phil’s Merry Christmas thread and find myself catapulted into the year 2011, viewing Danny’s Merry Christmas topic instead.

How’s that work, then?

This spam problem,could this be why the site loads at the speed of dark? It’s takes 30 seconds or longer to load here in the U.S. I know I am on NSA watch list but that shouldn’t slow me down! They just mirror what I do. And I thought the server was here in the U.S. so I should pickup a few milliseconds! What are you thought J.C.?

So, there’s probably nothing Cappsy can do about this one. I’m just weirded out by this and wondering if it’s ever happened to anyone else:

Somehow one of my words in another thread got turned into a roll-over link to an advertisement. I didn’t do it. When I refreshed the page, the link was gone.

Hopefully it was a one-time fluke and won’t become a regular thing.

On the topic of glitches, sorry mods, if you received a new topic post from me twice. It timed out on first try, then told me the second time it had already been submitted. I don’t know if it’s the site or my iPad what done it.
