    Just started watching this new series, never really watched Red Dwarf before aside from the odd episode or two. But I love it and have just started streaming Series one from Netflix. I love that little Dracula thing running around, he’s hilarious. Can’t wait to get through all 8 series over the next few days.

    Skip VIII and go right to IX/Back to Earth. Trust me, you’ll lose nothing plot-wise.

    Watch Can’t Smeg Won’t Smeg first. You need to know it’s continuity with the main series. Other wise you wont understand why Lister eats dog food in Marooned. Why they drink wine in Legion, or the whole Lobster series arch in VII, (most episodes it’s hiding in kryten’s arse)
