Now obviously, I would rather gouge my own eyes out than watch this group of mad old bats blathering on, but apparantly, Robert Llewewellyn and “Danny Jules” (their words) will be joining them sometime this week. As for actually watching it…well, I really don’t know if I can bring myself to do it. I always feel compelled to watch, and without fail their questions are ignorant, obvious and mind-numbingly stupid. Besides which, is there really going to be that much of a crossover audience? “What’s smeg?” “There isn’t actually a dwarf in it, is there?” “It’s been ten years. Do you all look older?” I confidently predict at least one of these will be asked. April 6, 2009 at 4:07 pm #95177 AlexParticipant Wow, that?s a real dilemma. Dwarf interviews with the possibility of clips but only by watching that god-awful dross. April 6, 2009 at 8:58 pm #95215 CarlitoParticipant Loose Women? Urrrrgh loads of women talking blabbering crap. April 6, 2009 at 9:08 pm #95216 hummingbirdParticipant Daytime telly. Par for the course. April 6, 2009 at 10:32 pm #95223 BlisschickParticipant Sounds like the UK equivalent of “The View”. Gah. I don’t watch daytime TV AT ALL. April 6, 2009 at 10:47 pm #95227 pfmParticipant > Urrrrgh loads of women talking blabbering crap. Worryingly, it took a second to remember where that was from. > Sounds like the UK equivalent of ?The View?. That’s exactly what it is based on. April 6, 2009 at 11:46 pm #95229 BlisschickParticipant >That?s exactly what it is based on. As an American and a woman, I sincerely apologize. April 6, 2009 at 11:50 pm #95230 CarlitoParticipant Too little, too late. At least we don’t have to put up with Rosie O’ Donnell. I don’t mean on Loose Women, I just mean in general. April 6, 2009 at 11:58 pm #95232 RadParticipant According to the website they’re not on tomorrow. And on Wednesday all it tells us they’ve got Whoopi. April 7, 2009 at 12:02 am #95236 Danny StephensonKeymaster And on Wednesday all it tells us they?ve got Whoopi. Is that a ‘woman’s thing’? April 7, 2009 at 12:12 am #95239 BlisschickParticipant >At least we don?t have to put up with Rosie O? Donnell. Who says I have to, either? I have control of the remote. *hangs head in shame* Okay, I’ll admit it, I watched her a few weeks ago on Craig Ferguson…but I was watching the show strictly for Craig. Honestly. And I watched with reluctance. I was twitching the whole time. Srsly. April 7, 2009 at 12:12 am #95241 pfmParticipant It’s just a cushion that simulates rectal gas. April 7, 2009 at 1:26 am #95245 CarlitoParticipant > Okay, I?ll admit it, I watched her a few weeks ago on Craig Ferguson Confidence?? April 7, 2009 at 1:31 am #95246 CarlitoParticipant Wow. A quick Wiki research tells me it really IS Confidence. CONFIDENCE is now a talk show host in America?! Odd. April 7, 2009 at 2:31 am #95247 peas_and_cornParticipant Is it called ‘loose women’ because they are all sluts? April 7, 2009 at 4:43 am #95249 BlisschickParticipant >CONFIDENCE is now a talk show host in America?! Odd. You didn’t know? CONFIDENCE is LOVED by America, and he became a citizen January of last year. His talk show clips are posted all over YouTube. He was first Mr. Wick on The Drew Carey Show for several years. Craig is the first to admit that his British accent was complete crap. April 7, 2009 at 4:56 am #95250 BlisschickParticipant What’s funny is that the first time I watched “Confidence & Paranoia” I kept thinking he looked familiar, but couldn’t put my finger on who he was, and it bugged me every time I watched it. Then not too long ago, out of the blue, I realized who he was. My hubby and kids didn’t believe me until I made them watch the epi again. He was a lot heavier and more tanned than he is now. You can email him directly to have your emails read on the show (it’s part of the gimmick), and I’ve seriously toyed with emailing and suggesting that he have Bobby on when he comes to the US later this year, but I haven’t been brave enough to do it yet. April 7, 2009 at 6:06 am #95251 locusceruleusParticipant The last time I saw his show he was championing Alice Cooper for the Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame (as well he should). Glad that he’s done well for himself. His English accent was pretty terrible on the DCS – though I was even more surprised when I was in the US to turn on the TV and hear a Scottish voice hosting a network show. It would be fantastic if he had Bobby on the show – anyone know if they’ve ever met? April 7, 2009 at 9:03 am #95255 Jonathan CappsKeymaster > CONFIDENCE is now a talk show host in America?! Odd. He may be a fucking idiot, but he gets there in the end. April 7, 2009 at 6:54 pm #95314 siParticipant Bobby says… Oops, forgot I’m on BBC breakfast thing tomorrow morning and Loose Women with Danny J J on Thursday. April 7, 2009 at 8:21 pm #95323 CarlitoParticipant > He may be a fucking idiot, but he gets there in the end. Pardon? April 7, 2009 at 9:29 pm #95330 Jonathan CappsKeymaster > Pardon? I was paraphrasing and insulting. My two favourite things. April 7, 2009 at 10:14 pm #95334 pfmParticipant > Is it called ?loose women? because they are all sluts? No, it’s ’cause they’ve all had kids… Actually they might not have. AAAAAAGHHHHH I just opened a new window with the SPECIFIC purpose of finding out whether the various Loose Women panelists have had children or not. Suicide mode on standby.
