Can we have a release of Hart Beat on DVD? Even if it’s just a Best Of? Beautiful music, of course – but what I love about that is the way it goes into live action halfway through – completely unexpected, and it really works. I was really sad about Humph passing away, I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times and thought the world of him. But when Barry said on one of the tribute shows that if he had recovered, he almost certainly wouldn’t have been able to play his trumpet anymore, which was his greatest pleasure in life, you kind of think ‘well, maybe it was for the best’. I guess this is the horrible flipside of that. October 2, 2008 at 11:40 pm #85666 Tarka DalParticipant I love you. A couple of thoughts: I forgot that Ol’ Tone always used to be accompanied by some young gorgeous girl. Also someone, somewhere needs to cover that theme tune. I also noticed on a credit sequence of the show that the animation was done by Charlie Mills and Terry Brain, who were also responsible for Trap Door. He always seemed so very lovely (and so very old, even back then..) October 8, 2008 at 3:50 pm #85875 Ben PaddonParticipant I love the rhyming headline.
