It was definitely him but the character he played was called “Dean Craig” or something like that. I can find no record of him being in this video online. Does anybody else remember it? Specifically the part where he pretended to beam up by tapping his chest before they put an effect on, while pulling this exaggerated face of disdain like he’s really above this Star Trek crap he keeps being paid to do. Videos aren’t there but: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b036k14r The description for this is “A visit to a haunted house in search of words to express fear.” And one here https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0077vld “Craig Charles explores how choosing and using words helps conjure up images in people’s minds.”. Clip on there of Craig reading a poem. May 26, 2021 at 1:29 am #266956 Bosco13Participant Wiki says in 1997 he was in a schools education series called “English Express Language Skills”. Ah thanks Stephen I’d been strongly suspecting the Mandela Effect May 26, 2021 at 5:45 am #266957 WarbodogParticipant Now I’m wondering whether I dreamed the Star Trek thing, since you’d think there would be some record of that and I can’t even remember what happened outside of the introduction (V/O “We sent Craig Charles to [‘boldly go’, etc]…”, Craig standing in some random street for an afterthought pick-up shot going along with the director’s inane request, disappears in rubbish sub-Red Dwarf wibble effect). May 26, 2021 at 9:40 am #266958 JenuallParticipant Posted at 5:45 am, it really was too early for that Star Trek crap!
