    So Buffy was no. 4? Fucking hell, it’s just a bit of guitar isn’t it (assuming this poll included the ending theme for Dwarf, to avoid being a hypocrite which I clearly am not)?

    Mind you I haven’t seen Buffy for years so it may be quite good.

    Buffy (much as I like it) shouldn’t even be in that poll. It’s not science fiction.

    Ok. There were some sci-fi episodes (the ones with androids, and Adam the human-demon Frankenstein monster cyborg thing) but a few episodes don’t count. Horror, yes. Fantasy even. Not sci-fi.

    Still people tend to lump em both together don’t they…

    My guess is Space : 1999. Anything else is WRONG. Except perhaps Blake’s 7. Or Thunderbirds.

    Not really, they changed it from the fantastic theme in 2005-2007 to the shit drum thing we have now, I used to look forward to the opening, it is just annoying now.

    For me, the closest I’ve heard to the original. Most of the others I’ve seen on YT seem to be imitating the Radio Show version – still great, but not as good, IMO.

    Voyager’s theme is shite.

    I always liked DS9’s theme, but the original one before they quickened the pace a bit (although the new titles themselves were very nice). Still, for a lot of Voyager eps the theme was the best bit.

    Voyager shouldn’t be on anyone’s list anywhere ever. Well, apart from “Top Ten Botched Spin-Offs” and “The Worst Scifi Shows of All Time”.

    I liked Vyager (in its early 3-4 Seasons and the later ‘The Doctor’ episodes). It is no DS9, TNG or ENT but it is an enjoyable show.
    I really like the theme tune, I thought that was generally a well recieved theme.

    Still I would say TNG and DS9 have more worthy themes than TOS, I find TOS to have an annoying theme, ahh well, atleast it didn’t have lyrics like was originally conceived.
