But Feast is excellent! It’s definitely slower, but thematically it’s probably the most impressive book in the series. Then again, it’s a thousand times better if you listen to a combined Feast / Dance audiobook.

I, Partridge, ABHOTT, pre-video RHLSTP (rhlstp) and the occassional Hardcore History got my focus better by easing the tedium of cross trainer sessions.

And yes, that was a proper pnch the air moment. I’ve seen people saying the special effects weren’t very good, but I thought they were so much better than we could ever expect given the scale (lol) of the whole thing.

Almost enough to dry the tears after Shireen’s death. That’s a book spoiler, too (pretty much confirmed by D&D), which in a way is the real tragedy here.

Best part of the episode was Gatiss about to clap for Tyrell’s singing.

If book Selyse and Melisandre kill Shireen without Stannis’ knowledge (going by that youtube clip) that should be more interesting than mapsex! Stannis.

Also those jerks should stop giving out book spoilers. Bad enough that in the season one commentary for the first episode they talked about Daenerys in flippin’ Dance with Dragons.
