    By repurpose, I mean add gags from deleted scenes and use them in new episodes?

    they already did, Captain Bollocks is re-used from a series 5 smeg up.

    and Pete Part 2 uses deleted scenes from Cassandra

    Think he reuses ideas and threads a lot, and does something or trys something new with them, so i would probably feel the same way I feel when I spot something referencing the past. Deliberately or less directly, I tend to spot similarities, If done well I dont mind. If it feels crowbarred in it’s a little less successful.
