I can’t stand Lister licking his dust-covered finger here. It’s awful. February 10, 2025 at 12:04 am #302632 TechnopeasantParticipant Kind of the reverse, but I am always heartbroken about losing the fresh cream and strawberries and am 100% behind Lister digging them back out of the trash. February 10, 2025 at 12:12 am #302635 UnrumbleParticipant This. If it is a napkin, the very idea makes me shudder. February 10, 2025 at 12:40 am #302639 MoonlightParticipant This. If it is a napkin, the very idea makes me shudder. It’s been a while since I’ve watched Xtended but I always thought SURELY that’s abnormally bright piece of bread or something. It being the napkin is horrible. Kind of the reverse, but I am always heartbroken about losing the fresh cream and strawberries and am 100% behind Lister digging them back out of the trash. I absolutely agree. February 10, 2025 at 1:54 am #302640 TechnopeasantParticipant The fact that Cat gives him a look might imply this is an obvious one. February 10, 2025 at 3:41 am #302641 MoonlightParticipant The garbage pod one bothers me even more because he’s literally licking his dusty fingers in real life. At least that isn’t actually booze. February 10, 2025 at 3:56 am #302642 HamishParticipant Even if it was water he’s still got most of it down his front. Danny manages. February 10, 2025 at 7:00 am #302645 Quinn: Clochebusters World ChampionParticipant This. If it is a napkin, the very idea makes me shudder. It helps it’s linen and not paper so it’s not disintegrating February 10, 2025 at 8:52 am #302647 Paul MullerParticipant It’s fine, the props department probably just covered it in icing sugar or something. This moment has always stuck in my head, so I need to ask: what are the moments in Red Dwarf, not the obvious ones, that put you off? I can’t stand Lister licking his dust-covered finger here. It’s awful. February 10, 2025 at 9:02 am #302648 Ian SymesKeymaster That bit where Cat eviscerates a teenager’s vagina with his barbed penis. February 10, 2025 at 9:19 am #302651 Flap JackParticipant Be fair. He actually un-eviscerated a teenager’s vagina with his barbed penis. February 10, 2025 at 9:33 am #302652 DaveParticipant RED DWARF ICKS Controversial alternative title for Back To Earth. February 10, 2025 at 11:31 am #302654 Flap JackParticipant For your consideration, may I submit this moment: February 10, 2025 at 11:43 am #302655 Nick RParticipant Off-putting in a different way: February 10, 2025 at 1:44 pm #302659 WarbodogParticipant Sweaty (Hologram) Rimmer always evoked the most potent imagined smell for me, largely thanks to Barry’s convincing performance and memories of PE. February 10, 2025 at 3:40 pm #302660 UnrumbleParticipant It helps it’s linen and not paper so it’s not disintegrating It doesn’t help me. I find the idea of it disturbing. I’m also not fond of those little wooden forks/spoons that are becoming more prominent. Hate the sensation of them against my tongue. February 10, 2025 at 4:41 pm #302662 Stephen R. FletcherParticipant I can never watch any scene on any show or movie with teeth falling out or being pulled out. February 10, 2025 at 4:47 pm #302663 StarbuggerParticipant “I don’t know why I f*ckin’ ate that cigarette!” Me neither, Craig. February 10, 2025 at 7:39 pm #302665 clemParticipant I am always heartbroken about losing the fresh cream and strawberries and am 100% behind Lister digging them back out of the trash. Always found this ghastly: February 10, 2025 at 8:00 pm #302666 DaveParticipant Even though it’s Series VII, I guarantee Rob wrote this bit. February 11, 2025 at 1:43 am #302670 Renegade RobParticipant Kryten dumping the soup in Rimmer’s bunk always bothered me for multiple conflicting reasons. Like it’s sort of overkill but also kind of… underkill? Part of me is like ew, that’s a gross thing to do to a bunk and another part of me is like oh no, what a waste of tasty-looking soup! I think it bothers me because Rimmer isn’t gonna have to clean that up (because he physically can’t and presumably won’t be able to feel the soupiness of his bunk either). The livvies were enjoying the soup, and they and/or the Skutters are gonna have to clean it up, so all Kryten is doing is wasting otherwise good soup and making a mess that doesn’t really hurt the one person it’s supposed to and actually inconveniences everyone else. February 11, 2025 at 2:12 am #302672 MoonlightParticipant One specific lady in the audience thinks he went too far there. February 11, 2025 at 3:01 am #302675 Renegade RobParticipant February 11, 2025 at 7:48 am #302680 Flap JackParticipant Between series Kryten joined up with Just Stop Oil. February 11, 2025 at 10:00 am #302682 DaveParticipant February 11, 2025 at 10:21 am #302683 DaveParticipant February 11, 2025 at 10:24 am #302684 DaveParticipant February 11, 2025 at 10:35 am #302685 DaveParticipant February 11, 2025 at 10:59 am #302686 Flap JackParticipant Excellent. February 11, 2025 at 11:38 am #302687 Spaceworm JimParticipant Lister sneezing on the camera in a Smeg Ups video, during a link. I don’t think it’s canon though, so just forget I spoke, alright? February 11, 2025 at 1:22 pm #302688 Quinn: Clochebusters World ChampionParticipant Dave I love you February 11, 2025 at 2:09 pm #302689 Renegade RobParticipant Why would Kryten repeatedly dump soup on perfectly innocent locations they visit in the back half of Series 5 of Doctor Who? That’s so mean, and so specific. February 11, 2025 at 2:35 pm #302691 UnrumbleParticipant Dave I love you February 11, 2025 at 3:21 pm #302692 Renegade RobParticipant February 11, 2025 at 4:57 pm #302694 Ben SaundersParticipant February 11, 2025 at 5:01 pm #302696 DaveParticipant Lister sneezing on the camera in a Smeg Ups video, during a link. February 11, 2025 at 6:55 pm #302698 UnrumbleParticipant February 11, 2025 at 9:51 pm #302701 RunawayTrainParticipant Non-canon, but real life – Can’t Smeg Won’t Smeg when nobody washes their hands after handling raw chicken! February 11, 2025 at 10:25 pm #302702 Renegade RobParticipant Technically an obvious gross-out scene, but for me, the off-putting gross-out isn’t the obvious tarantula of it all, it’s trying to figure out what the smeg that edible prop actually is made from, which I reckon must’ve still be gross for Craig to chew on IRL. Hard to imagine even heavily made-up edible food being appetizing when it’s been given any degree of fuzz. (Maybe in real life it’s made from a licorice allsort covered in fluff from somebody’s pocket.) February 12, 2025 at 12:04 am #302704 International DebrisParticipant I’ve never noticed Rimmer pretend-eating in the background before (I’m mostly trying to block out the thought of tarantula in the mouth), he’s playing that brilliantly horribly. February 12, 2025 at 1:41 am #302705 Renegade RobParticipant Yeah I noticed that for the first time too when I made that GIF. (Sorry for that btw, that is an unpleasant GIF, my bad) February 12, 2025 at 9:20 pm #302732 RudolphParticipant Back in the Red, Part Three ending on the big laugh of Rimmer’s imminent gang rape. February 12, 2025 at 11:31 pm #302734 MoonlightParticipant I feel like we’d need an entire second thread for Series VIII. February 13, 2025 at 12:12 am #302736 UnrumbleParticipant February 13, 2025 at 1:52 am #302738 Renegade RobParticipant March 4, 2025 at 8:18 pm #303142 tombowParticipant the opening of BTE with him sneezing on the ironing board is weirdly disturbing to me for some reason, maybe because it’s subtle Author Posts Viewing 46 posts - 1 through 46 (of 46 total) Scroll to top • Scroll to Recent Forum Posts You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
