A public apology to all members of the Ganymede and Titan team.

A long time ago, in a living room not so far away I did a bad thing.

Back in the days when I got invited to nice parties, such as those at the homes of esteemed G&T alumni Seb Patrick, Jonathan Capps and Ian Symes much fun was had. Some of this fun often involved abusing the fact that we had left our laptops logged into such things as Myspace and Facebook by altering a victim’s status or profile to question their sexuality.

At some point many months ago, after falling foul to this trick once too often for my liking and finding myself at the control of Ian Symes’ laptop, I happened to notice he had left himself logged in to G&T. I utilised this fact to slip into his account and on the sly give myself admin rights. The intention being to come up with some juvenile gag at a later time (when I was a bit more sober). Perhaps an elaborare April fool scam.

Anyhow the idea was more or less forgotten, but the admin rights remained. Never investigated, never given a second thought, just there.

That is until today when I somehow managed to delete a users post completely by accident. Apologies Hummingbird. This obviously lead to a bit of a flap and Ian asking if I could shed any light on the matter, which I did immediately.

Whilst my intentions were entirely purile, and I can state in all honesty that I’ve not given said rights a second look, on reflection I can understand why some if not all members of G&T will consider this a breach of trust.

To that end I give you this apology. Sorry guys.

Perhaps you’re right. Never the less for any offence or hurt caused I offer my sincerest apologies. The above post may seem slightly jovial, but the sincerity of my apology is genuine and I will accept any punishment the team feel is warranted.
